By collecting Rs 55.13 crore at the BO, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has beat the fourth day collection of Ok Jaanu (Rs 15.75 cr), The Ghazi Attack (Rs 19.40 cr), Rangoon (Rs 20.22 cr), Commando 2 (Rs 17.99 cr), and even Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil (Rs 52.41 crore). But BDK failed to beat the collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, which was Rs 75.44 crore. Also, it failed to beat Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 (Rs 57.72 crore).
The Shashank Khaitan directorial has got a thumbs up from the audience. The success of the prequel and word of mouth has worked in favour of Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
