A World Cup final and an India v Pakistan contest one can simply not ask for something spicier. The inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup saw both the Asian teams out class most of their opponents to make their way to the ultimate battle of it all and thus it was time for this epic tie to decide the winner of the first ever T20 World Cup in 2007.
It was the final over of the match witnessed one of the most closely fought moments in cricketing history. Pakistan went into the last over needing 13 runs to win, with only one wicket remaining. Joginder Sharma bowled a wide first ball, followed by a dot ball. Misbah followed by taking six off a full-toss; Pakistan needed just 6 runs to win from the last four balls. Misbah attempted to hit the next ball with a paddle-scoop over fine leg, but he only managed to sky the ball, and it was caught at short fine-leg by Sreesanth, leaving Pakistan all out for 152 runs.
Here we have the video of the final over to help you relive the moments.
