No matter who you are, diligent traffic cops in Uttar Pradesh will have none of it, if your car is parked at the wrong spot. Japan’s Ambassador to India, Kenji Hiramatsu, was in for a shock on Thursday when his car was allegedly towed away by traffic officials.
ASP (traffic) Habibul Hasan said that at 2.14pm, a white SUV (UP 32 GN 4912) was spotted stranded in front of Gate Number 2 at Vidhan Bhawan Annexe, reports TOI.
While the car was taken to the Hazartganj Kasmanda House in order to issue a challan, it was released around 2.40 pm after they realised that the car was owned by a private agency that was being used by the Japanese envoy.
Japan’s Ambassador meets CM Yogi, his cab towed away by traffic cops from outside Secretariat. UP Official lends his car for return trip! 😀

It is good to see that the officials are getting strict under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath; in fact, they are doing their duties really well.
