The Indian women’s cricket team is an inspiring bunch. Not only are they coming together as a team and excelling at the ongoing Women’s World Cup, they are making sure they leave their opponents and rivals inspired as well.

The 25-year-old Kainat made her ODI debut in 2011 shared a picture with Indjia’s fast bowler Jhulan Goswami and wrote a beautiful message, on her Instagram profile. Kainat, who is one of the most exciting young all-rounders in women’s cricket, is a huge admirer of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.

Goswami was the fastest bowler at that time, and part of the Mithali Raj-led squad that won the tournament, defeating Sri Lanka in the final. The 34-year-old pacer is a veteran of 158 ODIs in which she has taken 186 wickets – the highest in women’s cricket history. Kainat, meanwhile, has played only six ODIs and one T20I thus far.

It isn’t just Jhulan Goswami, she shares equal admiration and respect for the legendary Anjum Chopra as well.

Its was an honour meeting this legend. 😊 @anjum_chopra #formerindiancaptain #respect
