Call it doubtful, but JD.com- China’s biggest e-retailer has put up a listing for Nokia 8 with 3D-render that though looks like a fan made concept, is quite close to what type of design aesthetic Nokia follows. Amazingly someone had already made a concept video with same design a few days back.
Nokia is all set to launch its highly awaited, Nokia 3310, Nokia 3 & Nokia 5 at Mobile World Congress 2017. MWC is one of the biggest events in the tech world where world’s most renowned mobile phone brands launch their latest flagships. So, after these leaks of Nokia 8, we can also expect an announcement about it in MWC 2017 Nokia event.
Despite Nokia is stating that this is nothing but just a rumor spread by geeks online, images are looking quite fascinating. Currently, JD’s Nokia 8 listing shows basic specifications like an Android phone, full metal body and LTE connectivity. Here are some specs you should expect from Nokia 8.
Nokia 8 will sport a full metal body with front firing speakers. The display is wide almost without bezel and it makes the phone look stunning.
Despite a jumbo display of 5.7 inch, Nokia 8 will have a bezel-less display that makes it feel immersive to view movies and videos.
As per the specs specified on JD.com, it has a 24 Megapixels rear camera and 12 MP front camera with Carl Zeiss lens.
Other Key Features:
Along with USB type C port at bottom, the phone will have front facing speakers. As per JD.com, Nokia 8 will have Snapdragon 835. There is no word about phone’s RAM on JD.com, but a RAM somewhere between 4-6 GB will go great with Snapdragon 835. The price tag of CNY 3188 seems to be fair for the features offered, that’s around 31,000 INR.
Just less than a week is remaining to Nokia event at MWC 2017 and we are eagerly waiting for Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia P1 & the classic 3310. Despite the video we shared here is fan made, we highly doubt it to be close to the real Nokia 8 as it was made just a few days before the launch and same was updated on China’s biggest e-retailer JD.com. Well, couple of more days and we will know. That’s it for the article now. Subscribe to our blog and follow our FB page for more interesting updates and interesting current affairs.
