It is said to dream big, as one never know when it will come true. But Akash Jain, the young Bengaluru-based entrepreneur won’t have ever dreamt that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who hardly follows 1,700 people across the world, would become one of his followers on Twitter.
And all these happened because of one positive initiative Akash’s family took few days ago to put the “Swachh Bharat ” logo on the wedding card of his sister.
Twitter user Akash Jain tweeted to the Prime Minister, attaching a picture of his sister’s wedding card along with it with the logo of Swachh Bharat campaign on it! As unusual as that sounds, Jain tweeted that his father insisted that the invites are printed with the logo on them. His tweet quickly caught the attention of a local MP Pratap Simha, who retweeted it.

It wasn’t too long before PM Modi too, saw the tweet and seemingly was so impressed with Jain’s father’s idea, decided to follow him back on Twitter!
PM Modi kicked off the Swachh Bharat campaign on October 2, 2014 on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He famously swept a narrow street in a North Delhi neighbourhood, tapped celebrities to join in the cause and led thousands of government employees and school children in taking a pledge to focus on cleaning the country.
