A Moulvi Asked A News Anchor To Wear Bikini At Work. Her Reply Will Make You Clap With Cheers

If you are a woman in India, the men will tell you how to behave. Well, at least that’s what the situation seems to be right now. In recent weeks, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh have all been at the receiving end of trolls for choosing to live life on their own terms.

During a panel discussion on Fatima Shaikh being trolled for the pictures she posted on social media a Muslim cleric asked the anchor to wear underwear to her workplace. This is so that she could prove that she is equal to men.

“I am telling you, wear an underwear and come. You will become equal to men. Wear an underwear and come to debate. There will be equality between men and women,” shouts Maulana Yasoob Abbas to Faye D’Souza on Mirror Now, as shocked silence follows.

Shocked at his definition of equality between men and women, Faye took a few seconds to take in the filth; and then, she silenced the panel and SLAMMED Maulana Abbas exactly like he deserved.

“Let me tell you, Maulana ji. Aap jaise maine bahut dekhe hai. I’m not afraid of you, I’m not threatened by you, and most of all, I’m not rattled by you.” She said

She added “All you men think that if you rattle all women when they are doing their jobs, they will run back to their kitchens and cover themselves up and leave the world again for you to conquer”

Acrobats of equality, we appreciate Faye for her brave stand against orthodox medieval thinking. Stand up women, this is the time. Time for change. Time to be your best self. State your opinions if you agree with them. We’re waiting for an open-hearted discussion. Leave your comments!
